Louis Theroux Take my baby photography by Freddie Claire

Louis explores one of America’s most unusual industries, Open Adoption.

Hopeful couples pay thousands of dollars for a child and attempt to foster a lasting relationship with the mother who is willing to give up her newborn. The process is fraught with pain and emotion. For some, there is joy in creating a family, while others face the hardest decision imaginable, actually letting go of their baby. Hearts are on the line and the stakes couldn’t be higher, but not everything is quite as it seems.
